caller asks who if I am a particular person says will call back later

I was calling out to a 888 # and was switched to this one with a message that if I wanted 'to meet exciting local singles' call this number. Tried reporting to sherriff's internet crime but no interest. Will report to phone co next.

They call my house several times a day, go to voicemail and then they don't leave messages. Today it happened 7 times.

None speaks after my answer service kicks in.

left message, only syllable, I live in Canada why am I getting solicitations from U.S. I am also on Canadian DO NOT CALL....obviously this system is not working

What is this number??? They call me at all hours and when I finally answered after about 50 times (not kidding), they hung up!!!

when I returned the call (with my caller ID turned off), it was answered by a voice mail greeting, saying: "welcome to Hays Cosmo, please wait while your record is retrieved" and then disconnected.

I was told to pay $859.45 in 30 min or I will be served with papers and arrested and have a criminal background. I offered to pay payments - they put me on hold - then said I had to pay $500 now and in 3 days the balance. She gave me this # to call before I fax over a paper with my account #, exp date, code #. When I tried to call back(through an operator) they said there is no listing for this #. I could not get through. I faxed a letter expressing more info. She called me back 2 hrs later and said I had no right to call US Attorney @ 125 Park Ave in NYC(which she told me she represented) and she wouldn't tell me the note I was to pay off. The 125 Park Ave had no listing of US Attorney ofice.
